Caretex® EasyWipe PU Fabric 180 is a 180 g/m² grey PU-coated fabric developed by Gentuğ Textile for garden furniture protective covers: completely waterproof, breathable, UV- and mould-resistant, free from PVC and plasticisers; supplied by the roll or as made-to-measure finished covers.

Waterproof, Breathable Fabric for Garden Furniture Covers
Caretex® EasyWipe PU Fabric 180 is a PU-coated fabric developed for protective covers used outdoors all year round. The polyurethane-coated top side keeps rain and melt water out, while the polyester underside gives the fabric strength and dimensional stability.
Its breathable structure lets moisture trapped under the cover escape and reduces condensation. Together with the anti-mould finish and high UV stability, it protects furniture against sun, rain and humidity for the long term.
At 180 g/m² it is lightweight yet durable, suitable for ultrasonic welding and sewing, and easy to process. Free from PVC and plasticisers, it is an environmentally friendly alternative to PVC covers. Gentuğ supplies the fabric by the roll or makes it into finished, made-to-measure covers in-house.

Process Caretex® EasyWipe PU 180 by the roll on your own line, or order finished, made-to-measure covers produced in-house by Gentuğ.
Measure
Send the length, width and height of the furniture; the cover is planned with ≈1–3 cm allowance in each direction for easy fitting.
Cut
The fabric is cut for tables, sun loungers, lounge sets or custom shapes.
Weld
Ultrasonically welded joins: no needle holes, a more stable and waterproof seam. Optional seam sealing.
Secure
Drawstring in the hem and buckle straps at all four corners keep the cover in place on windy days.

What is Caretex® EasyWipe PU Fabric 180?
It is a 180 g/m² grey PU-coated fabric made by Gentuğ Textile under the Caretex® brand for garden furniture protective covers. The top side is 100% polyurethane and the underside 100% polyester; it is completely waterproof, breathable, UV-resistant, has an anti-mould finish and is free from PVC and plasticisers.
Can the fabric be welded?
Yes. The fabric is suitable for ultrasonic welding; welded joins are more stable and more waterproof than stitched seams, with no needle holes. Optional seam sealing is available, and conventional sewing is also possible.
Do you also make finished covers?
Yes. Besides supplying the fabric by the roll, we produce finished, made-to-measure covers for tables, sun loungers, lounge sets and custom shapes. Covers are made about 1–3 cm larger than the furniture in length and width; a hem drawstring, corner buckle straps and an optional storage bag in the same fabric can be added.
How is the fabric cleaned?
Wipe it with mild soapy water or machine wash it at 40 °C. Do not use aggressive cleaners, and fold the cover only when it is completely dry.
Can it be used through the winter?
Yes, it is suitable for winter use. However, cushions should not be overwintered under the cover.
