Frequently Asked Questions
What is interlining used for?
Interlining is a hidden layer that supports textile processing and gives a garment stability, shape and fit. Gentuğ supplies both fusible and sew-in types.
Which coating keeps water out but lets the fabric breathe?
Membranes and membrane laminations block water while letting vapour pass through. PVC coating is a full barrier against water and chemicals but has no breathing properties.
What working widths do Gentuğ’s coating lines offer?
Most coating and laminating lines work at 250 cm; the double dot and scatter dot coating lines work at 200 cm.
