Fortitude is Gentuğ Textile’s most advanced medical mattress cover, built on a high-performance PU coated nylon fabric platform. Developed under the Caretex brand, it delivers an outstanding chlorine bleach resistance of 50,000 ppm — setting it apart from conventional mattress protectors in chemical durability.
The fabric’s polyurethane coating creates a fluid-proof, virus-proof barrier while maintaining breathability through moisture vapor transmission (MVT). Its bi-directional stretch and recovery properties ensure effective pressure redistribution, helping to prevent decubitus ulcers in bedridden patients.
Fortitude fabrics are laboratory tested against hospital-acquired infection pathogens including Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Chaetomium globosum and Aspergillus niger — with proven strong antibacterial and complete antifungal efficacy.
