Product Overview
A Three-Layer All-Weather Blanket
The Caretex Thermo Blanket is a three-layer protection blanket. Both faces are soft, water-repellent microfiber; between them sits a breathable, waterproof polyurethane layer that blocks rain, snow and wind.
This construction keeps the user warm and dry while still letting body moisture escape as vapour. The blanket is finished with a stitched edge binding and is made to be washed and reused many times.
Gentuğ also supplies the Thermo Blanket fabric as roll goods for converters and private-label products.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which versions are available?
The Thermo Blanket is made in two fabric weights, 465 g/m² and 600 g/m², and in two colours, beige and grey. The standard size is 200 × 220 cm; other sizes are available on request.
How waterproof is it?
The fabric has a minimum hydrostatic resistance of 0.8 bar according to EN ISO 20811, roughly an 8-metre water column. Rain and snow cannot soak through.
Is it breathable?
Yes. The polyurethane middle layer lets body moisture pass through as water vapour while blocking liquid water and wind.
How should the blanket be washed?
It can be washed at up to 90°C, the temperature used for hygienic laundering in healthcare. Area shrinkage after a 90°C wash is max. 2%. Do not bleach and do not dry clean.
How is it different from a foil emergency blanket?
A foil blanket is thin, noisy and single-use. The Thermo Blanket is a soft textile that breathes, can be washed and reused, and protects against rain and wind as well as cold.
Is the fabric available on rolls?
Yes. The Thermo Blanket fabric is available as roll goods in 200 cm standard width (max. 240 cm), 25 m rolls; longer rolls on request.
