Hospital-Grade Protection for Every Mattress
Caretex® EasyWipe® mattress covers are made from a 4-way stretch, polyurethane-coated polyester knit. The cover follows the mattress and the movement of the patient without forming micro-wrinkles, helping to reduce shear and the risk of pressure ulcers.
The liquidproof PU surface forms a barrier against blood, infusion liquids and urine and wipes clean in seconds. Covers are available fitted, fully HF welded with no stitching, or with a 3-sided hidden waterproof zipper, with optional handles and UV-printed logos.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which construction options are available for the EasyWipe mattress cover?
The cover is available fitted with elastic-bound corners, fully HF welded with no stitching, or with a 3-sided hidden waterproof zipper that encloses the whole mattress. Carry handles on both sides and printed logos or orientation marks are optional.
Is the EasyWipe mattress cover flame retardant?
Yes. The fabric passes BS 7175 ignition sources 0, 1 and 5 (Crib 5), BS EN 597-1 and 597-2 for mattress covers, and the French M1 classification to NF P 92-507.
How waterproof and breathable is the cover?
The PU surface has a hydrostatic head of over 8,000 mm (ISO 811) with no deterioration after accelerated hydrolysis ageing, and a water vapour transmission of 4,370 g/m²/24 h (ASTM E96). The Fortitude® grade also passes the ASTM F1670 synthetic blood and ASTM F1671 viral penetration tests.
Can we add our hospital logo or colour codes to the covers?
Yes. Logos, department colour codes or foot-orientation marks can be applied with multi-colour UV print. The cured print bonds to the PU surface and stays sharp and fade-resistant through repeated wiping and routine disinfection.
